About this role

Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. The hospitals within McLeod Health include: McLeod Regional Medical Center, McLeod Health Dillon, McLeod Health Loris, McLeod Health Seacoast, McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon and McLeod Behavioral Health.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises staff to meet inventory management performance objectives and deadlines daily.

• Implement Supply Chain initiatives and objectives with the team.

• Tracks performance against objectives and regularly provides feedback to employees, both verbally and in writing.

• Utilizes inventory management tools and techniques to ensure maximum customer service level and the lowest total inventory cost, considering lead time, usage value, holding value, and frequency of use.

• Evaluates par levels, new item request, item discontinuation, and non-stock management.

• Serves as a primary liaison with Corporate Supply Chain teams to ensure proper alignment of goals, metrics, processes, and initiatives, to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

• Analyzes and identifies root cause of underperformance and implements changes to improve performance to meet or exceed targets.

• Collaborates in or supervises the development and implementation of new or enhanced inventory management processes, systems, and technologies, leveraging industry best practice.

• Reports facility specific results relative to inventory management metrics including inventory accuracy, service level, inventory turns and days on hand.

• Performs other duties as required.

Work Schedule: 80 hours Bi-weekly

Qualifications:

• Five (5) years of experience in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.

• Ten (10) years of relevant experience in lieu of college degree
