Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for performing moderately complex accounting tasks in support of the Department. This role ensures accuracy, integrity, and timely processing of financial transactions and records. Full Time | Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | Pay: $21.76/hr Primary Tasks:
• You will input and process general ledger journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper supporting documentation.
• Archive accounting documents, including journal entries, invoices, and bank reconciliations, in accordance with internal policies and audit requirements.
• You will review and process invoices and payment requests, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.
• Compile data and prepare financial summaries, reports, charts, and graphs for internal use and management review.
• You will research and resolve moderately complex accounting discrepancies or issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
• Ability to apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions or conversions) • Excellent oral or written communication skills • Proficient use of Ten Key (by touch) • Understanding of accounting principles • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Intermediate use of Microsoft Word and Excel • 2 years of directly related experience or education
