About this role

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Front Desk Supervisor oversees front desk operations, exceeding guest expectations by providing efficient service while maintaining a standard of professional excellence for front office staff. You will report to the Front Office Manager/Hotel Shift Manager. Start Rate: $19.50/hour | Full-Time | Overnights Primary Tasks: 1. You will monitor the check-in/check-out process; anticipate important situations and assist wherever necessary to help alleviate the pressure and to process the guest expediently. 2. Review reservation, checking for special requests, or any follow-up required. 3. You will maintain all direct bill accounts, vouchering of all bills, and completion of any required paperwork while backing up front desk. 4. Respond to guest comments, complaints, and concerns. 5. You will review the daily business levels, anticipate important situations and plan solutions to best expedite these situations. 6. Monitor the staffs' interaction with guests, ensuring prompt and service; resolve discrepancies with respective personnel. 7. You will ensure staff reports to work as scheduled and document tardy and absent employees. 8. Complete requisitions to replenish shortages or additional items needed for the anticipated business. 9. You will review requests for late check-outs, approve according to occupancy and communicate information to housekeeping. 10. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Computer Software Skills Prioritize and organize. One (1) year prior hotel front desk experience.
