Working Location
Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.

As a Senior Digital Asset Data Manager, you’ll ensure that the data underpinning our critical infrastructure is accurate, accessible, and drives smarter decisions. This role is central to Heathrow’s ambition to become a fully digital airport, enabling efficiency, resilience, and sustainability across our operations. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that partners with design, delivery, engineering, operations, and technology functions to deliver data solutions that build our assets and keep Heathrow running safely and efficiently.
• Lead the development and implementation of Heathrow’s digital asset data strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. • Establish and maintain data governance standards to improve accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of asset information across the organisation. • Collaborate with designers, delivery partners, engineering, operations, and technology teams to deliver integrated data solutions that enhance decision-making and operational resilience. • Oversee data quality improvement initiatives, including audits, cleansing, and validation processes, to ensure reliable asset information for critical projects. • Provide subject matter expertise on asset data management tools and systems, driving innovation and best practice adoption. • Report on data performance metrics and deliver insights that inform asset lifecycle planning and capital investment decisions.
• Proven experience in asset data management within a complex infrastructure or engineering environment. • Strong knowledge of data governance principles, standards, and best practices. • Proficiency in asset management systems and related digital tools. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities effectively. Ideal Skills:
• Experience in the aviation, transport, or utilities sector. • Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards and BIM processes. • Knowledge of emerging technologies in digital asset management, such as IoT and predictive analytics.
