Cage and Count Room Operations
• Manage cage and count room operations and ensure accurate, courteous, and efficient financial transactions. • Maintain accountability for cage bankrolls, chip inventories, vault funds, kiosks, and other monetary assets. • Ensure appropriate staffing to support gaming volumes, guest demand, and required control functions. • Monitor cash levels and coordinate authorized transfers among the cage, vault, kiosks, and gaming operations. • Oversee opening, closing, balancing, and reconciliation procedures. Financial Controls
• Enforce approved internal controls, gaming regulations, and company financial policies. • Review and approve bankroll requests, fills, credits, marker transactions, and large or unusual transactions within authority. • Monitor variances, investigate discrepancies, document findings, and implement corrective action. • Maintain complete records supporting financial activity and asset accountability. • Partner with Finance and Internal Audit during audits and control assessments. Credit and Collections
• Oversee casino credit and collection activities in accordance with approved internal controls, company policy, and applicable laws and regulations. • Manage the casino credit application, verification, approval, and account-maintenance processes within delegated authority. • Review credit reports, banking information, gaming history, outstanding markers, returned items, payment activity, and other relevant information when evaluating creditworthiness. • Establish, adjust, suspend, or recommend casino credit limits based on documented authority levels, risk considerations, and property procedures. • Monitor outstanding markers and aging reports, prioritize collection activity, and ensure timely and professional follow-up with patrons. • Coordinate collection efforts with Credit, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and approved third-party collection resources as appropriate. • Approve or recommend payment arrangements, settlements, write-offs, and account restrictions within established authority. • Maintain accurate and complete credit files, collection notes, supporting documentation, and patron correspondence. • Identify delinquency trends, concentration risks, policy exceptions, and potential fraud indicators, and escalate material concerns promptly. • Protect confidential consumer and financial information and ensure collection communications are professional, discreet, and appropriately documented. Regulatory Compliance
• Ensure compliance with applicable Missouri Gaming Commission requirements and approved internal controls. • Oversee Bank Secrecy Act, anti-money laundering, Title 31, and OFAC procedures. • Ensure CTR and SAR-related records and required reports are completed accurately and timely by authorized personnel. • Respond to regulatory inquiries, examinations, and document requests. Leadership and Team Development
• Recruit, train, coach, develop, and evaluate cage supervisors and cashiers. • Set performance expectations and reinforce accountability, teamwork, guest service, and compliance. • Address employee relations and performance matters professionally and consistently. • Develop succession plans, cross-training opportunities, and internal talent pipelines. Asset Protection and Risk Management
• Safeguard assets and enforce cash handling, access, key control, and authorization procedures. • Investigate variances, policy violations, fraud indicators, and procedural exceptions. • Coordinate with Surveillance, Security, Compliance, and management regarding unusual activity. • Review exception reporting and recommend control or process improvements. Guest Service
• Resolve guest concerns involving cage transactions, check cashing, front money, markers, jackpots, and casino credit within authority. • Maintain a guest-focused environment while enforcing controls and regulatory requirements. • Support VIP and high-worth guest transactions with professionalism, accuracy, and discretion. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong knowledge of casino cage operations, cash handling, and asset accountability. • Working knowledge of gaming regulations, internal controls, BSA/AML, Title 31, and OFAC. • Ability to manage large cash inventories and complex financial transactions. • Knowledge of casino credit underwriting, marker administration, collections practices, aging analysis, and confidential financial records. • Strong analytical, investigative, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. • Proficiency with casino systems, Microsoft Office, and financial reporting tools. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred. • Equivalent education and relevant casino operations experience may be considered. • Five years of casino cage operations experience preferred. • Two years of supervisory or management experience in a casino cage environment preferred. • Experience with regulatory reporting, AML compliance, large cash inventories, and financial controls. • Experience with casino credit, marker administration, account aging, and collections preferred. • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
