Job Description: The Job An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly created Business Manager Veterinary B2C China position to be onboard to our B2C Division, Health & Wellness within China B2C team. This key role will be a strong leader and key performer on B2C team to develop market strategy and manage implementation activities of Protexin Veterinary nutraceutical range of products in China market, to work with global key stakeholders and deliver China revenue and margin targets by leading trading partner execution in the veterinary market.

Your Responsibilities • Accountable for Protexin Veterinary China B2C business results: topline net revenues and net margins; • Review, adjust or reinforce route to market for Protexin Veterinary range (including but not limited to reviewing or signing agreements with trading partner/wholesalers/logistics partners etc.); • Manage existing trading partner for veterinary channels to achieve top line revenue and margin targets with implementation of activities needed, and in the meantime finetune market strategy by identifying and capturing growth opportunities in Chinese market and identifying and fixing what’s not working; • Lead and manage existing trading partner and its Protexin territory managers team to achieve sell-out targets and lead directionally marketing support as aligned with the trading partner on vet activities with high efficiency of a joint KPI measurement of branding and sales;

• Identify vet corporate group accounts as key accounts in China and build direct relationship with them and develop joint business planning with the assistance from the trading partner in terms of commercial terms negotiation and trade support planning; • Promote the use of Protexin Veterinary range through the education of vets in China and perform technical presentations and trainings in clinics or vets seminars whereas needed; • Monitor country level sales and revenue, and manage trading partner’s stock levels and orders from Protexin UK. Co-ordinate the logistics for stocks / forecast planning / inventory reporting / product bundling among the trading partner, Protexin UK and the JBP customers if any for effective operations; • Liaise with the marketing team to develop and deliver the annual marketing/brand plan in China; • Work with global stakeholders and other cross functional teams to expand product range in China. Work with Protexin Brand Manager China (new hire) and assist with finalising translations and designs for Chinese product packaging artwork for future new launch NPDs/EPDs of veterinary nutraceutical range; • Represent the business at selected national (+/- international) conferences; • Build a network of Vets KOLs to engage with and support the brand in China; • Remain up to date on key competitor products, giving feedback to the marketing and new product development teams where appropriate; • Proactive planning and delivery of other activities to increase sales of Protexin Veterinary products in China; • Carrying out any work which the company may from time to time deem necessary; • Share best practices of Protexin Veterinary from China with ADM B2C international forum and H&W APAC forum; • Support B2C China Commercial Director on new Vet/Pet B2C projects and new brand launches;

: Your Profile • Preferred Veterinary background or having technical expertise in China Vet industry; • Highly driven and proactive, with a high level of energy and motivation to support our brand’s growth in China; • Fluent in English (written and spoken), having the ability to communicate with global stakeholders and present in English on global meetings; • Skilled and confident communicator, able to build relationships and influence decision makers; • Negotiation skills, commercial acumen and consultative selling; • Professional presentation development and delivery through concise written and visual representations; • Ability to lead a team internally and externally (the trading partner’s territory managers team). Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with trading partner and key accounts; • Experience in country level commercial development and JBP plannings, designing and implementing country strategy and brand plans; • Overseas education working experience is more preferred; • 8+ years working experience in health nutrition category, background with veterinary and pet industry in China for MNC companies is highly preferred; • Have the experience to start from scratch, build new business model into a success; • Persistence and resilience in the pursuit of objectives, willing to take new challenges and resolve issues; • Hands-on, ability to work with ambiguity and in an entrepreneurial environment; • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; • Ability to work independently; • A relevant degree in business or marketing or a veterinary/scientific education background with significant experience in a commercial role; • Significant experience in a commercial role within the Chinese veterinary industry, with a strong network of industry connections.
