We have an exciting opportunity for a Rheumatology Nurse to join our dedicated and friendly team.
In this rewarding role, you will work alongside our Specialist Rheumatology Nurses to provide high-quality care and support to patients with rheumatological conditions and musculoskeletal disorders. You will play a key role in helping patients manage their condition, addressing their physical, emotional and social needs, and supporting them to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Main duties of the job
Following induction and training. Action and organise patients test results. Recognise and action management plans for abnormal blood results in relation to monitoring patients on disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs using the Trust IT systems. Answering patient queries to the Rheumatology telephone helpline via email and telephone. Participate in education presentations for patients and staff. Management of all aspects of rheumatology conditions. Continue to develop through CPD and undertake all mandatory training.

The Rheumatology Specialist Nursing team is based in Kitson Hall, Torbay Hospital. This friendly team work closely with the Rheumatology Consultants, and the wider MDT, to provide an effective and responsive Monday to Friday service, delivering nurse led clinics to patients with all types of rheumatology conditions. This is a mainly office based position, however you will be expected to work between TSDFT hospitals.
