Job summary
The Car Parking Officer will be responsible for supporting in the highly effective Car Park management service whilst also maintaining operational support within the Operational Departments.
The post holder will ensure that an effective administrative service is provided to all areas of the Operations Department in line with related policies and procedures.
The post holder will regularly be required to support in the customer focused car parking delivery service, dealing with complaints in a professional and supportive manner.
Main duties of the job
Implementation and management of the on-line permit system to provide the best experience for users.
Ensure that the car parking services and associated car park security are delivered to the required specification and standard (monitoring against the contract and the Trust Car Parking Policy).
Manage the issue of permits for all of our car parks. To provide advice in the development of new service or estate developments on car parking and capacity.
Assist with the management of providers of Car parking services at the Trust. Monitor and manage the usage of the car parks to ensure that the car parking needs of staff, visitors and patients are met.
Respond to staff, patient and public complaints in a professional manner, and exercise discretion to resolve the complaint in a timely manner.
