As an Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial records, analyzing data, and assisting in compliance with accounting standards. Within our Finance practice, you will provide accurate financial information and insights to support decision-making. As a Manager, you will enhance your leadership style by motivating, developing, and inspiring others to deliver quality. You will be responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to meet expectations. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will work with team leadership to validate collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables. By developing skills outside your comfort zone, you will encourage others to do the same. You will effectively mentor others and use the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the skills of team members. Addressing conflicts or issues, you will engage in difficult conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Managing financial records and conducting data analysis to support compliance with accounting standards - Leading the preparation and review of financial statements and reports to provide accurate insights for decision-making - Overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes to optimize financial performance - Implementing accounting policies and practices to maintain consistency and accuracy in financial reporting - Coordinating account reconciliation activities to validate the integrity of financial transactions - Guiding teams in the execution of financial accounting tasks, including general ledger accounting -Strong controllership background - Financial close ownership - Reconciliation oversight - Controls management - Accounting policy interpretation
What You Must Have
- Any Graduate - At least 8-13 years of experience - Oral and written proficiency in English required
