We're looking for an Architectural Design Coordinator to join a team supporting large-scale restaurant modernization projects across North America.This is an incredible opportunity to work on the owner/client side of the business, collaborating with project managers, architects, and design partners to improve customer experiences, optimize restaurant layouts, and bring innovative design concepts to thousands of locations nationwide.Whether your space planning experience comes from internships, studio projects, academic coursework, or professional experience, this role offers hands-on exposure to commercial architecture, brand implementation, and large-scale design coordination in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do
• Review and coordinate architectural design packages for restaurant remodel and modernization projects • Apply space planning principles to improve customer flow, employee efficiency, and overall functionality within restaurant environments • Utilize Bluebeam to review, mark up, redline, and track revisions on architectural drawings and technical documents • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and external consultants to ensure designs align with company standards and project goals • Review floor plans, elevations, details, and layouts to support design consistency across multiple locations • Assist with signage, branding, and front-of-house design implementation • Coordinate updates to existing restaurant facilities and prototype designs • Support ADA compliance and accessibility considerations within design layouts • Participate in design reviews and help identify creative solutions to site-specific challenges • Help drive high-profile projects from concept review through implementation What We're Looking For Required Qualifications
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Architectural Technology, Interior Design, or a related field • Experience using Bluebeam for drawing review, redlines, markups, and document coordination • Exposure to space planning through academic coursework, internships, studio projects, or professional experience • Strong understanding of architectural drawings, floor plans, and design documentation • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment Why You'll Love This Opportunity

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Chicago, IL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
