As part of DHL Group, you will be working with a global network of Internal Audit colleagues and benefit from a wide range of development opportunities. We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Job Purpose: Manage IT internal audit assignments across Business Units/Divisions in the AP region. Lead a team of auditors based in Malaysia to carry out audit tasks. Your tasks: • Manage audit assignments to ensure appropriate resourcing, effective execution and well-supported conclusions • Lead major audit assignments in line with their impact, complexity and risk profile • Contribute to the annual audit planning process, including input on priorities, risk areas and resource requirements • Maintain regular engagement with relevant departmental contacts in Bonn and across the regions to support continuous improvement of the audit function • Build and maintain effective working relationships within the DHL IT and business communities across Business Units and Divisions • Support the Regional Office Head in the recruitment and onboarding of audit staff • Identify and document 'best practices' in business processes, internal control and corporate governance • Monitor the quality standard of his/her team • Work closely with other managers of the Asia Pacific audit team and co-operate on joint assignments. People - Management • Lead the Audit Team ensuring that the team is provided with clear direction, trained and motivated to meet set targets. • Perform the appraisal process regularly for direct reports to manage individual performance and career aspirations. • Design training programs for audit staff Your profile: Essential • Minimum 6 years work experience, either within the audit profession, or managerial function of a major international business & minimum of 2-3 years Internal Audit experience • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in relevant field • Excellent spoken English and strong written communication skills • Proven ability to lead multicultural teams effectively • Ability to communicate technical matters clearly to non-specialist audiences • Sound technical understanding of IT operating environments from a control’s perspective • Strong understanding of the IT systems development lifecycle • Familiarity with relevant IT standards and frameworks, including COBIT, ITIL and ISO/IEC 27000 family • Strong administrative, organisational, project management and planning skills • High degree of personal accountability and ownership • Strong cultural awareness and high standards of integrity • Ability to build effective working relationships and develop strong professional networks • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, or more as business needs require Preferred • Big Four audit or consulting experience and/or experience in IT security and IT risk management • Prior people management experience, including leading high-performing teams • Experience applying AI-enabled tools to support audit planning, execution and analysis • Knowledge of emerging IT, digitalisation and AI trends and their relevance to internal audit • Knowledge of professional internal audit standards • Relevant professional certification, such as CISA or CIA, would be an advantage We offer: • Great opportunity to work for the biggest logistics company in the world • International and virtual environment • Flexibility and great opportunity to learn • Tempting Compensation and benefits DHL Group is an equal opportunity employer.
