Business Function Group Technology enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group Technology, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications to support the bank's operations and customer-facing services • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other IT professionals, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture design, coding, testing, and deployment • Continuously research and implement new technologies, frameworks, and best practices to enhance the bank's technology stack • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development • Proactively identify and address technical challenges, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the bank's applications Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field • Minimum 5 years of experience in application development, with a strong background in programming languages, frameworks, and databases • Proficient in software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms • Hands-on experience in developing and deploying web-based applications, mobile applications, or microservices • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and best practices • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
