Team Insights

• The team is part of the Team ‘Business Risk & Controls (BRC)’. The PB BRC guards the “Protect” agenda by overseeing operational risks, conduct & control topics and regulatory changes. • The team works across global PB franchise delivering complex key risk and control agenda, adding value for the Business to reduce complexity and enhance controls. The team works with cross-functional and global teams, collaborating with multiple stakeholders globally across the bank.

Your key responsibilities

• Support Regulatory Reporting and Conflict of Interest (COI) governance activities across the Private Bank. • Maintain Regulatory Reporting inventories, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely updates. • Coordinate local/global attestations, annual self-assessments, and control reviews. • Support the identification, assessment, escalation, management, and monitoring of Potential and Actual Conflicts of Interest. • Provide guidance and oversight to stakeholders on regulatory reporting and conflict management requirements. • Execute periodic controls to validate compliance with governance frameworks and policies. • Track governance issues, control gaps, and remediation actions to ensure timely resolution. • Prepare and analyse Management Information (MI) reports, dashboards, and governance metrics for senior management. • Support audits, regulatory reviews, and governance forums through accurate reporting and documentation. • Drive continuous process improvements to strengthen governance, controls, and regulatory compliance.

Your skills and experience

Education & Experience:

• Knowledge of governance frameworks, control environments, attestation processes, and risk management practices. • Proven experience in Regulatory Reporting, Governance, Risk & Control, Compliance, Operational Risk, Audit, or Financial Services Operations. • Understanding of regulatory and compliance obligations within the banking or financial services industry. • Experience working on small to medium scale projects within global environment. • Experience in preparing management information reports and presenting governance metrics to stakeholders. • University degree

Competencies:

• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate meaningful insights. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, e.g. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools. • Experience managing inventories, governance records, and control documentation. • Familiarity with regulatory reporting processes and conflict management frameworks is advantageous. • Excellent English language command (written and spoken skills) with a strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
