QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Major DutiesYou will perform design analyses and calculations for specialized civil/structural projects.You will provide independent, timely and professional specialized structural engineering products, services and consultation for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of facilities for Navy, Marine Corps, and other Supported Commands.You will analyze and design extensive structural alterations and modifications to existing facilities to meet the ever-changing demands placed upon the shore establishment of Navy and Marine Corps.You will prepare final detailed working drawings, comparative cost analysis, Request for Proposals, and project specifications for a wide variety of facility types.You will prepare final detailed working drawings, comparative cost analysis, Request for Proposals, and project specifications for a wide variety of facility types.You will provide structural engineering support to active construction projects including the following activities; submittal review, respond to RFI’s, quality assurance site visits and inspections, and project closeout.You will ensure that the structural aspects of projects are constructed in accordance with contract plans and specifications.
