What You'll Do
As an Associate, you'll combine technical expertise, commercial acumen and client leadership to deliver high-quality building consultancy services while driving growth opportunities across the region.
• Delivering technical building consultancy services including:
• Technical Due Diligence
• Building Condition Assessments
• Asset Lifecycle Planning
• Strategic Asset Management Plans
• Capital Works Forecasting
• Insurance Assessments
• Make Good Assessments
• Conducting building and asset inspections across Australia and New Zealand.
• Preparing high-quality technical reports, recommendations and cost forecasts.
• Developing scopes of work for repair, refurbishment, replacement and maintenance projects.
• Managing projects from assessment through to delivery.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships to support retention and growth.
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across existing and emerging service lines.
• Collaborating with internal service lines to develop integrated client solutions.
• Contributing to proposals, tenders and business development initiatives.
• Supporting operational excellence, governance and quality assurance across projects.
• Mentoring and developing junior team members as the Building Consultancy team continues to grow.
What We're Looking For We're looking for a commercially-minded consultant who combines deep technical expertise with a passion for client service and business growth.
Essential Experience
• Approximately 15+ years' experience within the property, construction or building consultancy sector.
• Strong experience delivering building consultancy, asset management, engineering, quantity surveying, building surveying or related advisory services.
• Demonstrated success managing complex projects from inception through to completion.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and client relationship management skills.
• Commercial understanding of project delivery, procurement and business development.
• Experience preparing technical reports and presenting recommendations to clients.
• Ability to travel across Australia and New Zealand as required.
Qualifications You will hold a degree in one of the following disciplines:
• Building Surveying
• Building Engineering
• Services Engineering
• Quantity Surveying
• Construction Management
• Or a related discipline
Professional accreditation such as RICS, AIQS, AIPM, CIBSE, Engineers Australia, CIOB or equivalent will be highly regarded.
