About this role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager (m/f/diverse) - Tax Reporting & Tax Accounting to join our global tax team at ContiTech. In this role, you will lead critical tax reporting processes and ensure the accurate calculation and reporting of deferred taxes. You will act as a key contact for IFRS tax topics, auditors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliant reporting and efficiency in a dynamic international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the tax reporting process (Budget, Forecast, Actual) for all relevant topics in a global tax environment, including deferred tax accounting, tax expense calculations, and tax cash flows.Ensure accurate current and deferred tax calculations in accordance with IFRS (IAS 12) and local GAAP across the GroupServe as the main point of contact for IFRS tax special topics and liaise with management, certified public accountants, and auditorsDevelop and continuously improve tax reporting packages and support their implementation across the GroupIntegrate Pillar Two requirements into existing tax reporting processes and structuresDevelop and deliver targeted training programs on tax accounting and reporting topicsWork independently and with a strong focus on quality within a small global team, maintaining close collaboration with operational business units University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Taxation, or a related field; qualification as a certified tax advisor is an advantageProven professional experience in taxation within an internationally operating company or a public accounting firmExcellent knowledge of accounting standards, including IFRS, local GAAP, and tax accountingStrong affinity for technology and digitalization, combined with advanced proficiency in MS Office and SAPSolid understanding of tax-related matters and their impact on globally operating companiesInterest in leveraging data analytics and automation to enhance tax risk monitoring and reporting efficiencyExcellent written and spoken English and German skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, team orientation, and intercultural competence
