About this role
*Overview*
EnviroTEM is hiring a full-time Administrative Assistant to keep the office running behind our field crews. It's a central role in a growing industrial cleaning company that serves mine sites across Ontario.
You'll coordinate payroll, manage the bookings and paperwork that a multi-site operation depends on, and be the organized point person our leadership team counts on. If you stay on top of a lot of moving pieces at once and follow through without being chased, this is your kind of job.
*What You'll Be Doing:*
* Run and track payroll, including timesheets, vacation, and benefit enrollments. * Book camp and travel logistics for crews: rooms, accommodations, and flights ahead of each rotation. * Handle accounts payable and invoicing, help prepare client quotes, and keep expenses tracked. * Prepare employment paperwork, schedule interviews, run reference checks, and order the required record and driver checks. * Keep the leadership team organized: track outstanding items, follow up, and keep priorities moving. * Maintain accurate records and correspondence in SharePoint.
*What You Need to Succeed:*
* Two or more years of administrative experience. * Payroll and bookkeeping experience is a strong asset, and QuickBooks skills are a real plus. * Confident with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook, and comfortable learning new payroll and accounting systems. * Highly organized, accurate, and able to hold many priorities at once without dropping them. * Discreet with confidential payroll and employee information. * Post-secondary education in business or office administration is welcome, though the right experience matters more.
*Why Work With Us:*
EnviroTEM sets the standard in industrial cleaning for mining, and that standard runs straight through the office. This role keeps crews paid, sites staffed, and jobs moving.
* Competitive salary and a full benefits package. * Direct work with the people who run the company, where your judgment counts. * Room to grow as the business does. * A team that takes safety, and each other, seriously.
If you're the organized, dependable person who makes everything around you run better, apply today.
