*Job Overview* We are seeking a friendly and efficient *Barista* to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining cleanliness standards to ensure a positive experience for our customers. Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.Must be available to work from 5.45 am in the morning. Tips will be distributed monthly.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and consistency * Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately * Handle cash and perform cashiering duties with attention to detail and accuracy * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces * Ensure food safety standards are followed during food handling and preparation * Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner * Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery * Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including serving snacks or light meals * Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and food safety protocols
*Requirements*
* Previous experience as a *Barista* or in the *food service* industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates * Strong *customer service* skills with the ability to engage positively with guests * Good *time management* skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours * Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately * Knowledge of *food safety* standards and proper food handling procedures * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
