About Us
Lynx Specialty Services is a *CWB-certified (Division 2) and COR-certified* contractor specializing in structural steel erection, miscellaneous metals, Q Decking/metal decking, mass timber, and precast installation. We're committed to delivering exceptional quality and maintaining the highest safety standards on every project.
Duties
* Erect and install structural steel beams, columns, and frameworks according to detailed blueprints and schematics * Install miscellaneous metals, Q Decking, and metal decking with precision and care * Install mass timber components and related structural elements * Perform post-installed anchors and epoxy applications for structural connections * Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, hoists, and forklifts to lift and position components safely and accurately * Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and installation * Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and rigging gear to secure structures effectively * Collaborate with other trades to coordinate project timelines and maintain quality standards * Contribute to a culture of safety and quality craftsmanship on every site
Requirements
* Proven construction experience with a focus on structural steel or ironwork projects * Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment operation, and safety procedures in a construction setting * Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately * Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation * Experience with post-installed anchors and epoxy applications * *Versatility and willingness to work with multiple material types* (structural steel, miscellaneous metals, mass timber, metal decking, and precast) * Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights in various weather conditions * Strong understanding of safety protocols related to welding, heavy equipment operation, scaffolding setup, and fall protection * Commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail * Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and trades

Pay: $26.00-$42.00 per hour
