About this role
M.I.C. Canadian Eatery & Whisky Pub is looking for a permanent, full-time bartender to serve our amazing guests. *For the right candidate, we are willing to offer full-time day shifts (10am to 5pm), Monday to Friday with weekends off.*
Applicants must have *at least 2 years of prior experience* as a bartender and be able to demonstrate proven success at *building and maintaining a strong and professional relationship with their clientele.*
The Bartender is responsible for a large second on tables, guests seated bar top, takeout orders and Skip the Dishes/online orders. This is a position that requires exceptional mulit-tasking skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Duties involve (but at not limited to):
* Setting up for the day (putting down chairs, wiping and setting tables, counting inventory, stocking the bar) * Executing the cocktail menu (mid-range degree of difficulty) * Taking care of our guests. Predicting and delivering on every one of their needs to make their experience exceptional every single time. * Basic math skills (balancing a till and cashout) * Maintaining a clean and organized bar
