Winnipeg's largest mobile tire storage company seeks responsible, hardworking individuals to drive the 5 Ton Truck! Tire Chalet was created in the spring of 2015 and is a family run business. By keeping service levels high and continually growing their business one account at a time, Tire Chalet has grown to the single largest seasonal tire storage provider in Western Canada.
Responsibilities:
* Manage delivery & pick up routes so they proceed in the most efficient way possible * Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business * Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public * Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management * Comply with all government and in-house regulations and rules * Display professionalism, punctuality and demonstrate an industrious work ethic
Qualifications:
* Driver?s license in good standing (Based on Province of Residence) clean abstract * No serious tickets or accidents in the last 5 years * No DWI/DUI in last 10 years * 1+ years? commercial driving experience required using a 5 Ton Truck & Operating a lift gate * Have a positive attitude and professional demeanor * Be physically fit, have a high level of stamina / energy, and able to consistently lift 50-70lbs * Be willing to work 40 hours a week with a potential to work overtime * Willing to work Saturdays * Carry a great attitude and like working in a team environment * Experience working with tires is a bonus! * Must be 21yrs of age for insurance purposes.
