Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Tasks: Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Adjust equipment, valves, pumps and controls and process equipment. Read electrical schematics, blueprints and other technical diagrams. Perform preventive maintenance. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Work with minimal supervision. Follow emergency and safety procedures. Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications. Troubleshoot, repair, install and inspect aircraft systems and components. Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments.
