Tasks: Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards. Assist cleaners in performing duties. Co-ordinate work activities with other departments. Supervision: 5-10 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Does not require Canadian work experience. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
