The Opportunity We are recruiting for an experienced and ambitious Senior Lettings Negotiator to join an established, family-run residential lettings agency based in Crouch End, North London. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven negotiator who enjoys taking ownership of their own pipeline, closing deals and building strong relationships with landlords and applicants.
The business offers a high degree of autonomy, strong earning potential and a clear progression route to Assistant Lettings Manager within 12 months for a successful performer.
A strong Lettings Negotiator looking to take the next step into a Senior position will also be considered.
The Role As Senior Lettings Negotiator, you will manage the lettings process from initial applicant enquiry through to an agreed tenancy while actively contributing to the growth of the branch. Your responsibilities will include: Registering and qualifying prospective tenantsArranging and conducting property viewingsManaging your own pipeline of applicants and propertiesNegotiating offers and successfully closing dealsProgressing agreed tenancies through referencing and complianceMaintaining strong relationships with landlords and applicantsProspecting for new business and developing relationships with prospective landlordsHelping to generate new property instructions for the branchAttending valuations where appropriateSupporting and mentoring junior negotiatorsAssisting the Lettings Manager when requiredConsistently working towards individual and branch targets About You We are looking for someone who is confident, competitive and commercially minded, with a strong track record within residential lettings. Ideally, you will have: A minimum of 3 years' residential lettings experienceProven experience achieving targets and closing dealsStrong applicant registration and qualification skillsExcellent negotiation and communication skillsThe ability to independently manage a lettings pipeline from enquiry through to agreed tenancyExperience building relationships with landlordsA proactive approach to prospecting and generating new businessExperience attending valuations, or the ambition and ability to progress into valuationsThe confidence to support and mentor more junior members of the teamStrong written and spoken EnglishExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailA full UK driving licenceARLA qualification, or willingness to complete the ARLA exams within six monthsIdeally, you will live within approximately 30 minutes of Crouch End Package & Benefits Basic salary: Up to £26,000, depending on experienceOTE: £45,000-£50,000+ through commission and performanceGenerous commission structure with strong earning potentialCompany carClear career progressionOpportunity to progress to Assistant Lettings Manager within 12 monthsEstablished branch with a strong volume of properties and applicant enquiriesGreater autonomy and less micromanagement than many larger corporate agencies Working Hours Monday, Tuesday & Friday: 9:00am-6:00pmWednesday & Thursday: 9:00am-6:30pmSaturday: 10:00am-4:00pm, alternate Saturdays
