Our client is currently looking for a Children's Support Worker able to work in the Ilford area. This role provides immense job satisfaction within a busy and varied environment, working with a range of professionals and directly creating positive outcomes for the young people you’ll support.
Salary: £14.00 – £15.00 per hour (paid monthly)
Working Hours:
Full Time, shift based role on a rolling rota (Monday – Sunday)Day shifts: 8:00am – 8:30pmWaking Night shifts: 8:00pm – 8:30am Essential:
At least 1 year of experience working with children or young people in any care, support, or education settingAbility to advocate for young people and promote their wellbeingStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Reliable, professional, and committed to safeguarding practices Desirable:
Residential childcare experience – a major advantage for this roleLevel 3 Qualification in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)Strong teamwork skillsHigh level of integrity and emotional resilience What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting children and young people in their daily routinesCreating a safe, nurturing, and structured home environmentBuilding positive, trusting relationships as a key workerEncouraging education, independence, and positive behaviourWorking alongside Social Workers, families, and other professionalsContributing to care plans and independence goalsMaintaining a clean, safe, and organised homeCompleting accurate records and essential administrative tasksMaking informed decisions to support young people during shiftsWorking collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistent, high quality care Why Join Our Client:
