This position is grant-funded, and continued employment is contingent upon grant funding. Primary Purpose: Provide intake, data entry, records management, and customer service support for North Texas Adult Education and Literacy (NTAEL) programs. Maintain accurate student and program data, assist with enrollment and assessment processes, and support compliance with district, grant, and state requirements. Provide responsive service to students, staff, and community partners. Qualifications: Education and Certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
• Clerical, office, data entry, or customer service experience (preferred)
• Experience in adult education and literacy or a related educational setting (preferred)
Knowledge and Skills
• Working knowledge of records management and document maintenance practices
• Proficient organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard office technology
• Ability to prioritize workflow, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet established deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive student and program information
• Demonstrate professionalism, tact, and respect in interactions with students, staff, and community members
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred)
Key Responsibilities: Intake and Student Services
• Respond to inquiries regarding program enrollment and services and refer individuals to appropriate staff as needed
• Schedule appointments for enrollment, assessments, and documentation collection
• Administer, score, and proctor approved program assessments in person or virtually
• Assist with student intake, orientation, and related program events
• Assist students with basic technology screening and support
• Provide students with information and referrals to community and social service resources
Data and Records Management
• Enter, maintain, review, and verify student and program data in TEAMS for accuracy and compliance
• Maintain student records and documentation in accordance with program, district, and state requirements
• Maintain confidentiality and security of personally identifiable information and student records
• Respond to routine TEAMS data questions from staff, students, and community partners
• Collect data and prepare or update routine program reports
Program Support
• Organize and maintain program supplies, materials, and equipment
• Participate in program meetings and professional development activities as assigned
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable program, district, and state policies and guidance
Other Duties:
• Adhere to all district policies, procedures, and expectations as outlined in the employee handbook and administrative regulations.
• Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Participate in professional development, faculty/department meetings, and special events as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the mission and goals of the department and district.
