About this role
Grounds Maintenance Personnel Part Time 25 hours/week The Barrington School District is looking for part time staffing for a grounds maintenance person. This is job consist of:
• Opening all buildings and disarming.
• Mowing, trimming, leaf blowing, removal of sand and debris from curbing areas, removal of tree limbs, spring clean up.
• Snow removal, tractor work, shoveling, salting, replenishing salt buckets, swap out salt buckets fall and spring.
• Take water readings, and check the status of water filtration systems.
• Gas up vehicles, mowers, tractors, etc. as needed. This requires going to the Barrington Highway Department.
• Keeping the district grounds in a clean, safe environment.
• Capable of working on equipment, oil changes, blade changes on mowers, weed wacker heads, chainsaws, etc.
