Responsibilities: We are seeking a certified Sports Nutrition Coach to deliver a tailored, high-impact sports nutrition education program for Salem High School's Fall athletic teams. This role is responsible for educating 270+ student-athletes across all fall sports teams on practical fueling strategies, hydration, recovery, and overall athletic health to optimize performance throughout their competitive season. Directly responsible to the Athletic Director.
• Presentation Delivery: Facilitate tailored sports nutrition workshops customized to the physical demands of specific high school sports
• Curriculum Focus: Educate student-athletes on pre-, during-, and post-workout nutrition, proper hydration techniques, efficient recovery habits, and practical daily fueling strategies.
• Interactive Learning: Coordinate and distribute simple carbohydrate samples to all participating athletes to reinforce real-world fueling principles.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with the school's athletic department and coaching staff to ensure seamless presentation scheduling and athlete participation.
