QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree, Master's Preferred
• Massachusetts licensure preferred, but will work with qualified applicant to gain lcensure.
REPORTS TO: Building Principal JOB GOAL: Responsible for the instruction of Spanish classes in a high school setting for grades 8 through 12. PERFORMANCE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Instruct students in multiple levels of Spanish.
• Work as a team member within the World Language Department
• Create interactive and innovative lesson plans and modify accordingly throughout the school year
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
• Utilize a variety of curriculum resources to diversify instruction and lessons
• Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans
• Utilize curricula that reflect the diverse educational and cultural backgrounds of the students served
• Observe and evaluate student's performance and maintain electronic gradebook
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking positive disciplinary procedures
