What You'll Do
• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems across district buildings
• Respond to and troubleshoot hot/cold calls
• Perform preventative maintenance according to established schedules
• Repair/replace valves, motors, controls, switches, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, and other system components
• Document work in our CMMS system (Maximo)
• Assist with snow removal during winter months (snow blowers, tractors, shovels)
• Work in accordance with OSHA and district safety standards
What You Bring
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Technical/trade school training or completed apprenticeship
• 5+ years of related commercial/industrial HVAC experience
• Required licenses: MA Refrigeration License, MA Pipefitters License, RSES License
• Strong controls experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Willingness to work some nights, weekends, and holidays as needed for coverage
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 35 lbs regularly (occasionally 40 lbs), and work in varying temperature conditions.
