Welcome to Maine School Administrative District #75 Serving Maine's Midcoast communities of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell, and Topsham, MSAD 75 is home to over 2,350 students and more than 600 faculty and staff members. Merrymeeting Adult & Community Education is seeking a Driver's Education Driving Instructor to join our vibrant educational community. PAY RATE: $30.00/hour ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Provides on road driving instruction for students
• Schedules drives with students/parents
• Maintains driving calendar
• Communicates with office regarding necessary maintenance and repairs
• Attends driver's education meetings and professional development
• Reports unusual or concerning issues regarding student driving or behavior with the office
• Stays up to date on the renewal of their instructor's license
• Maintains and submits paperwork in a timely manner
REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET (B.A./B.S. preferred)
• Valid Class C Maine Driver's License
• Clean Driving Record
• Valid State of Maine Department of Education background check (CHRC) authorization.
• Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles Driver/Rider Education Program
