About this role
PLEASE NOTE: This internship must be pre-approved by the College/University and the District Primary Purpose: Work with school faculty, staff, students, parents, and community to create meaningful content that helps advance the District's brand, marketing campaigns, and storytelling efforts. Education:
• Currently enrolled undergraduate student.
• Complete a minimum of 60 semester hours toward a Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Digital Design, or related content.
Special Knowledge / Skills:
• Knowledge of Photography, Writing, Graphic Design, & Video Production preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience / Other Requirements:
• Experience working with Social Media.
• Flexible availability.
• Entry level skills in photography, writing, and/or graphic design.
Internship Time Period: The Communications Internship is only valid for the pre-approved Fall or Spring Semester. Major Responsibilities and Duties:
• Assist in content creation.
• Photography
• Writing feature stories
• Basic graphic design
• Video Production
Administration
• Comply with all district and campus routines and regulations.
• Maintain a positive and effective relationship with supervisors.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.
• Adhere to the ethical and legal standards and model behavior that is professional and responsible.
