POSITION: The Financial ERP Systems Analyst implements effective and ef?cient usage of the district's. Enterprise Resource Planning system for financial processes. The ERP Systems Analyst is the primary functional expert for financial technology and reporting, taking direction from the Managing Financial Services officer and partnering with departments across the organization to ensure the system is used effectively, ef?ciently, and consistently while supporting business process improvement, training, reporting, and user support. As an analyst, the position supports scenario development for budgeting, forecasting, and negotiation processes. This position may supervise other staff. Key Responsibilities ? Serves as the primary functional subject matter expert for the Financial ERP system across departments, providing day-to-day user support, training, and documentation to ensure consistent and effective system use. ? Manages user roles, security access, and work?ow con?gurations in alignment with organizational and business needs. ? Develops custom reports, queries, and data outputs to support operational and strategic decision-making. ? Partners across departments to evaluate business processes, identify opportunities for automation, and improve work?ows and system utilization. ? Coordinates with the Technology and software providers on system integrations, upgrades, testing, and implementation of new functionality, including communication, training, and post-implementation support. ? Leads user acceptance testing (UAT) for system upgrades, enhancements, interfaces, and process changes to ensure functionality and data integrity. ? Monitors and supports integrations between finance software and third-party applications to ensure accurate and timely data exchange and system reliability. ? Assists with data quality assurance and ensures accuracy, consistency, and integrity of system data. ? Facilitates cross-departmental discussions regarding system con?guration, reporting needs, and operational improvements. ? Facilitates ongoing system optimization and special projects, identifying opportunities to improve ef?ciency through automation, process redesign, and elimination of manual data entry where appropriate. ? Provides training to new and existing personnel on financial software processes and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent application across departments. ? Creates and maintains system structures including funds, accounts, budget rollups, organization codes, object codes, billing codes, project numbers, and other required segment values. ? Oversees special projects to implement additional functionality, security, integrity or other considerations for use of technology in financial reporting. ? Provides analytical support for forecasting, budgeting, and various financial reports. ? Other responsibilities, including supervising teams, when assigned. Required Quali?cations ? Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Public Administration, Accounting, Business, or a related ?eld, or equivalent combination of education and experience required ? Five (5) or more years of experience supporting, administering, or working with Tyler Technology School ERP Pro, HRIS, payroll, ?nancial, or related enterprise systems preferred; equivalent experience and demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems will also be considered ? Strong understanding of business processes in areas such as Finance, HR, Payroll, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, or Revenue/Billing required ? Experience in Oregon school finance, government, or familiarity with public sector ?nance and HR practices preferred ? Demonstrated experience providing end-user support, training, and documentation for non-technical users required ? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly required ? Pro?ciency in Microsoft Of?ce, particularly Excel (or equivalent tools), required ? Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users required ? Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing demands required ? Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or system enhancements preferred ? Familiarity with reporting tools such as Tyler Reporting Services, query tools, or business intelligence platforms preferred ? Experience with work?ow design, process improvement, automation initiatives, and system integrations preferred ? Experience developing dashboards, reports, or data visualizations for operational decision-making preferred ? Experience supporting cross-functional projects involving Finance, HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders preferred ? Knowledge of municipal budgeting, accounting, payroll, or billing processes preferred
