About this role
The Senior Specialist Secretary provides support to the assigned deputy director, performing a variety of supplementary services, which include but are not limited to processing, reviewing financial documents, drafting and proofreading memos, letters, summaries, and other written communications, and maintaining calendars and other functions pertinent to the director's assignment. Qualifications:
• Hold at least a High School Diploma (College Degree Preferred).
• Have experience working with youth in a multicultural/urban environment.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional teams, coordinate events, work effectively with keen attention to detail, and manage projects independently.
• Demonstrate excellent command of the English language, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary; bilingual preferred.
• Demonstrate skills in maintaining case folders for each student writing and editing reports.
• Demonstrate the ability to use computers and/or electronic equipment to fulfill job functions.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, an enthusiastic attitude, and the ability to relate well
• with culturally diverse stakeholders, including staff, students, parents, and community partners.
• Hold and maintain a valid driver's license with no serious violations.
• Exhibit integrity and demonstrate good moral character.
