Bishop Dunne Catholic School is seeking a highly qualified Full-Time Athletic Coordinator. The Athletic Coordinator works closely with the Assistant Principal of Formation, coaches, administration, counseling, registrar, and families to ensure compliance, organization, communication, and smooth operation of all athletic programs. Primary Responsibilities
• Coordinate and maintain all student-athlete documentation including:
•
• Physical examinations
• Medical insurance records
• Concussion protocols and required health forms
• Ensure compliance with league, state, and diocesan athletic regulations and requirements.
• Manage athletic participation records through TAPPS (TMS), DPL (Doodlio), and other designated athletic management systems.
• Assist with team registration and roster submissions.
• Maintain accurate records of student participation and travel permissions.
• Assist with transportation and travel-related logistics for athletic events.
• Coordinate athletic equipment and uniform ordering.
• Develop and maintain an inventory management system for athletic equipment and supplies.
• Track distribution, collection, repair, and replacement of athletic equipment and uniforms.
• Monitor and maintain records of required coaching certifications, trainings, and clearances.
• Ensure coaching staff remain compliant with diocesan, league, and school requirements.
• Assist coaches with administrative and operational needs throughout the athletic season.
• Assist in planning and coordinating athletic events, competitions, and special activities.
• Recruit, organize, and communicate with parents and community volunteers for athletic events.
• Support game-day operations and event logistics.
• Manage athletic schedules and event updates through designated platforms, including Hudl.
• Coordinate ticketing and event management systems.
• Assist with communication of schedules, changes, and athletic updates to students, families, and staff.
• Coordinate team and individual athletic photography sessions.
• Assist with any athletic events or fundraisers held by BDCS athletics and/or Parent Council
• Abide by all policies as outlined in the Catholic Schools Office Handbook of Policies and Procedures for Elementary and Secondary Schools and the BDCS Faculty and Staff Policies and Procedures Manual.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Assistant Principal of Formation.
Position Requirements
• High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in education, sports management, athletic administration, or related field preferred.
• Previous coaching experience, or experience in program coordination or athletic administration.
• Previous experience working with middle school and high school students.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty, staff, and administration.
• Willingness to serve as an advocate for the school.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must successfully complete a background check and comply with the Diocese of Dallas Safe Environment Program
