Arcona Developments requires multiple Carpenter roles for their premises at Crowsgrove, Kildavin. The salary range starts from €36,605 (18.05/hr) to €54,000 (26.63/hr) based on a 39-hour week. Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications. Job Description - Second Fix Carpenter required to perform high-quality finishing carpentry works across residential developments in the Southeast of Ireland. The role involves installation and finishing of internal doors, frames, ironmongery, skirting boards, architraves, stair components and handrails, timber flooring and associated finish details. The successful candidate will read and interpret drawings and specifications, coordinate with other trades to ensure workflow and timelines are met, maintain a clean and safe work area, and report defects. Some first-fix experience (stood wall framing, floor joists and plywood flooring) is also expected to support site needs. The position reports to the Site Foreman and requires adherence to site-specific RAMS and Irish health and safety regulations under the PSCS framework. Key responsibilities include: installation of internal doors, frames and ironmongery; fitting skirting boards and architraves; assembling and installing stair components and handrails; installing timber flooring and executing finishing details as required; reading and interpreting construction drawings, schedules and specifications; coordinating with painters, tilers, electricians and plumbers to ensure smooth workflow; ensuring all works meet project timelines and quality standards; maintaining a clean, safe and organised site working area; identifying and reporting defects or issues promptly; carrying out basic first-fix tasks such as stood wall framing, floor joists and plywood flooring where required; complying with site-specific RAMS and Irish health and safety regulations under the PSCS framework. KEY REQUIREMENTS Required Qualifications - Essential: Proven practical experience as a Second Fix Carpenter on residential projects with a high standard of finish; ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications; Safe Pass (Ireland); Manual Handling certification; full clean driving licence (van will be provided). Desirable: Experience working on housing developments and multi-unit schemes; knowledge of modern building systems including airtightness and finish detailing; experience with snagging and handover processes; ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills.
