About this role
We are a busy shop located in Dungloe, Donegal and would love to offer the correct person a chance to learn many aspects of working within a busy bakery department. We produce scones, breads and cakes to a high standard. If you're interested in and have a passion for food, we make most of our products from scratch. This is a great opportunity to learn baking from start to finish. You will work with our expert bakers every day on a one-to-one basis and become part of our Fresh Foods Team. Our bakery will be expanded later this year, and this placement has a high chance of evolving into a full-time position.. This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP. Formal Training: - Hygiene and food safety training - WPEP QQI Course Informal Training: - All aspects of baking within our store. - Quality controls & presentation. - Batch Control
