Job SummaryYou will serve as a STRATEGIC PLANNER in the IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: Developing material and non-material options and alternative concepts to mitigate high consequence threats and impose dilemmas on adversaries across the spectrum of conflict; Demonstrating being a strong, self-starter capable of working with a diverse and innovative group that does not operate within fully established processes or organizational governance; Researching, planning and helping to execute information operations to advance objectives; Identifying, developing and synchronizing the implementation of specialized actions and activities that enhance the Navy's competitive posture; Establishing, coordinating, and tasking intelligence requirements for collection, analysis, and production; Providing inputs to inform and shape Navy strategy documents including. Major DutiesYou will serve as a planner for projects in areas that align to threats and challenges prioritized by the Secretary of War, the Combatant Commanders, or the Chief of Naval Operations.You will identify specific opportunities to enhance core strengths, exploit emerging opportunities, and mitigate threats and weaknesses.You will maintain strong partnerships between the NSP and the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, and Naval Component (Fleet) Commands to integrate mutual priorities into NSP-sponsored activities to enhance warfighting advantage for the Joint Force.You will lead cross-functional Integrated Planning Teams to develop plans, concepts, and campaigns to achieve N39 objectives.You will create, review, edit, coordinate, and present briefings and presentations.
