Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Railroad Maintenance Vehicle Operator Supervisor without more than normal supervision. I have the ability to perform common tasks such as assisting with planning and training, provide mentorship with other employees and operate basic railway equipment. I can assist with prioritizing workload, identify training needs, and perform basic railroad maintenance vehicle operations. I work under normal supervision of a branch chief who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Major DutiesServe as a supervisor over the Railroad Trackage Section to approximately 25 subordinate workers.Perform full supervisory responsibility overseeing and directing work operations.Determine the equipment and supplies needed for each work site.Develop performance requirements and make formal and informal performance appraisals.
