QualificationsConditions of Employment continued: Position is designated critical-sensitive and requires a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret w/SCI clearance. This position is emergency-essential. In the event of a crisis situation, the incumbent, or designated alternate, must continue to perform the Emergency-Essential duties until relieved by proper authority. The incumbent or the designated alternate may be required to take part in readiness exercises. This position cannot be vacated during national emergency or mobilization without seriously impairing the capability of the organization to function effectively. This meets the criteria of an Emergency-Essential position and requires that the incumbent, or the designated alternate, be removed from any military recall status. Employee must sign DD Form 2365 as a condition of employment. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, Logistics Management Series 0346. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade (GS-04), level pay band (NH-01) or equivalent. Specialized experience includes: Knowledge of logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating contingency support, logistics readiness deployment and execution, support agreement and war reserve materiel management, base/expeditionary support, sustainment, redeployment, mobility bags/small arms weapons, and logistics command and control. Knowledge of Integrated Deployment Systems (IDS) which include logistics management information systems necessary for planning and executing deployment operations. OR EDUCATION: A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university. NOTE: You must submit a copy of official transcripts. OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating contingency support, logistics readiness deployment and execution, support agreement and war reserve materiel management, base/expeditionary support, sustainment, redeployment, mobility bags/small arms weapons, and logistics command and control. Knowledge of Integrated Deployment Systems (IDS) which include logistics management information systems necessary for planning and executing deployment operations. Skill in analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting logistics readiness factors, and formulating procedural solutions to problems. Skill in integrating the separate functions in planning or implementing a logistics management program. Ability to identify, analyze and translate complex information, make appropriate judgments, and evaluate options concerning base readiness. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Major DutiesAssist the Installation Deployment Officer (IDO) with planning, organizing and implementing the Installation Deployment and Base Support and Expeditionary (BAS&E) Site Plans. Manages and administers the Installation Support Agreements Program. Manages and monitors the Wing War Reserve Material (WRM) Program.
