Job SummaryAbout the Position: Serve within the Business Operations & Integration Branch in the IMCOM-E / Public Works (PW) Division. Applies engineering principles to PW management & workflow processes, engineering management systems, & resource programming & allocation process. Applies programmatic & analytical techniques in the development & validation of PWs system requirements. Manages PWs deployment, sustainment, & enhancement development of the Army's General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-12 which includes: (1) Implementing and using Public Works systems of record such as GFEBS, ISR, ArMA, and BUILDER; (2) Conducting quality assurance analysis of Public Works' systems of record, coordinating data correction, and identifying and implementing strategies to ensure long term data accuracy and integrity; (3) Obtaining and analyzing data in metrics and internal control systems such as Command Inspection Program and Risk Management Internal Controls, and develop and implement plans to improve performance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
Major DutiesServe as subject matter expert in providing support functions for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) management systems.Support DPW systems operations and management functions.Plan, conduct and/or participate in studies of DPW to validate essential business operations processes performed.Ensure proper implementation of laws, directives, and policies governing DPW financial and work management issues.Serve as DPW subject matter expert for functions concerning the financial and manpower resourcing municipal services, real property facilities, and/or operations.Evaluate DPW financial execution data and provide recurring analysis of funding trends.Review complex automated system support and productivity improvement initiatives.Participate in the preparation of briefings to key leadership on Public Works systems issues and requirements.
