QualificationsResumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Must have a working knowledge of wood working techniques and basic shop mathematics. Must be skilled in use and operation of common hand and power tools and measuring devices of the carpentry and painting trades to perform a variety of tasks. Must have knowledge of standard surface preparation and coating methods and techniques. Must have ability to read and follow basic blueprints and sketches.
Major DutiesPlans the use of workers, equipment, facilities, and materials on a day-to-day, project-by-project and on a week-to-week and month-to-month basis.Establishes deadlines ,priorities, work sequences and plans work assignments based on general work schedules, methods and policies set by superiors.Investigates works related problems such as excessive costs or low productivity and determine causes. Implement corrective actions to resolve work problems.Determines training needs and arranges for accomplishment of it; sets performance standards and makes formal appraisals of subordinates
