Job SummaryYou will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the PROCESSING MANAGEMENT (N92), CORPORATE OPERATIONS (N9) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE. Experience applying laws, polices, directives and instructions to quality assurance audits. Experience planning, scheduling, and coordinating internal and external command inspections and audits to meet the requirements of formal Inspection Programs. Experience preparing and presenting oral briefings containing technical audit information. Experience utilizing electronic databases to track and resolve audit findings and resolutions. Major DutiesYou will assist planning and performing audits and inspections.You will assist making proposals to leadership on how to improve ashore business operations.You will maintain program policies and procedures to support the efficient operation of the command while minimizing the risk of fraud, waste, abuse and mismanagement of government resources in accordance with Federal laws and regulations.You will be responsible for review of both the Safety Management System (SMS) and the Quality Management System (QMS) to resolve any potential conflict, upload documents to the portal and provide document control of SMS and QMS.
