QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience leading and working with cross discipline teams, to include budgeting, managing execution of engineering projects throughout the life-cycle, analyzing system performance as related to program goals and objectives and making recommendations to inform program direction. Major DutiesYou will function as a recognized subject matter expert for Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Performance, with a focus on system accuracy, reliability, survivability, and effectiveness assessments and data managementYou will support and sometimes lead System Engineering Technical Reviews, Engineering Review Boards, and Configuration Control Boards including refinement of expectations and processes.You will chair working groups or Integrated Product Teams related to areas of responsibilitiesYou will direct the development of System Requirements and System Definition, conducting complex architecture trade studies, and interfacing with stakeholders to incorporate threat perspectives into the overarching system definition.You will lead budget formulation, program planning, and execution activities, including defining System Engineering metrics and overarching Work Breakdown Structures.You will develop, integrate, and execute command-wide Systems Engineering Processes and policies in support of development, operations, and sustainment activities of the Trident II Strategic Weapon System. This includes leading new methods and tools.
