Role Summary
Responsible for operating and hardening the Linux server infrastructure underpinning our business-critical services, and for actively participating in the on-call rotation for Application Operations/Operations Control. A central role in expanding high-availability infrastructure, IaC/CI-CD adoption, and SLA compliance. VMware/VCF exposure is a plus but not the focus of the role – Linux operations is the core skill required.
Responsibilities
• Operate, patch, and harden the Linux server fleet underpinning ZEUS and other business-critical services.
• Operate the ZEUS Service Operations platform (runbooks, monitoring, incident handling).
• Participate in the on-call rotation (currently 4 FTE with a multi-times-per-week deployment cadence).
• Contribute to expanding IaC/CI-CD to automate infrastructure operations.
• Ensure SLA targets for business-critical services.
• Support VMware/VCF operations as needed (secondary skill, not the core focus).
• Transfer knowledge and onboard new team members.
• Contribute to the team goal AFAR (AI Feature Adoption Rate).
Requirements
• Several years of professional experience at senior level (seniority tier A3) in Linux server administration/operations – mandatory.
• Experience with on-call operations and incident management in productive, business-critical environments.
• Knowledge of IaC/CI-CD automation.
• VMware/vSphere/VCF knowledge desirable, but not required.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty (rotation model).
• Fluent English.
