HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE… As a Facilities Custodian, you will help create a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment that supports our employees, production operations, and food safety standards. Through your commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and facility upkeep, you will play an important role in maintaining a workplace where teams can perform their best every day. WHAT YOU WILL DO…
• Perform regular cleaning and sanitation of manufacturing areas, workspaces, hallways, breakrooms, team rooms, restrooms, and common areas. • Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the facility with special attention to high-traffic and spill-prone areas. • Clean and sanitize restroom facilities to maintain a hygienic environment for employees. • Monitor inventory levels and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other consumables as needed. • Respond promptly to spills, leaks, and other workplace hazards to help maintain a safe work environment. • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of custodial equipment to ensure proper operation and longevity. • Maintain accurate records related to cleaning activities, supply usage, and facility observations. • Clean fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, windows, and window coverings. • Empty trash and waste containers throughout the facility. • Report accidents, injuries, safety concerns, maintenance issues, and facility repair needs in a timely manner. • Support facility organization and cleanliness standards to ensure efficient operations. • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization. • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment. • Understanding of workplace safety practices, chemical handling, and waste management procedures. • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with employees at all levels. • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work successfully in both independent and team environments. • Ability to follow instructions and established cleaning and sanitation procedures. • Physical ability to lift, bend, reach, stand, and perform cleaning activities throughout the shift. • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to cleaning chemicals. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)
• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or sanitation experience. • Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or food production environment. • Familiarity with facility maintenance reporting processes. • Experience maintaining cleaning supply inventories. • Knowledge of 5S, workplace organization, and continuous improvement practices. • Bloodborne Pathogen Training certification.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Primarily indoor manufacturing environment. • Exposure to loud noises, odors, and varying temperatures. • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and sanitation products. • May occasionally participate in outdoor activities or facility support tasks. • Required use of PPE and protective clothing in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. • Schedule flexibility may be required, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on business needs.
SHIFT INFORMATION 3rd Shift 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
COMPENSATION Pay Rate: $18.01 per hour
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
