Location: Beloit, Wisconsin Pay Rate: $32.95-$37.00/hour Shift: Night Shift, 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule (work every other weekend) Hours: 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM, with overtime as needed based on business requirements. Start times and hours may vary due to staffing coverage, production schedules, and holiday requirements. Strong attendance and punctuality are required.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE… As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and utilities are maintained in a safe, reliable, and productive condition. You will play a critical role in supporting continuous improvement initiatives, maximizing equipment uptime, enhancing plant reliability, and maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
WHAT YOU WILL DO…
• Follow and promote all plant and maintenance safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash, and Hot Work Permit requirements. • Support confined space entry procedures and assist with alternate entry requirements when appropriate. • Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety requirements. • Properly use and maintain required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with OSHA and company standards. • Participate in training, certifications, and development activities to maintain technical expertise. • Identify and recommend improvements to maintenance processes, equipment performance, and plant reliability. • Execute and document planned and unplanned maintenance work through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). • Install, repair, troubleshoot, rebuild, and modify equipment, machinery, tools, and facility systems. • Perform preventive maintenance inspections, corrective repairs, equipment rebuilds, and special projects. • Respond to and resolve equipment failures and breakdowns. • Utilize Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Breakdown Failure Analysis (BDA), Cause Mapping, and other problem-solving methodologies to determine failure causes and prevent recurrence. • Apply predictive maintenance technologies including vibration analysis, thermal imaging, ultrasound, and oil analysis. • Interpret technical documentation including blueprints, electrical schematics, pneumatics, hydraulics, process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), single-line drawings, and equipment manuals. • Maintain and repair facility utility systems including electrical, mechanical, steam, boiler, water heating, compressed air, gas, power distribution, and chilled water systems. • Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, pumps, motors, instrumentation, carpentry, grounds maintenance, painting, and related building systems. • Assist with testing, repair, and replacement of fire protection and life safety systems, including alarms, sprinklers, smoke detectors, emergency lighting, and exit signs. • Repair and maintain plumbing fixtures, drains, vents, faucets, toilets, and perform basic wallboard installation and repairs. • Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with EPA, local, state, and federal regulations. • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance. • Ability to pass plant-specific maintenance skills assessments. • Working knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems. • Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals. • Ability to safely troubleshoot and repair production equipment and facility systems. • Knowledge of OSHA safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout procedures and PPE requirements. • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for documenting maintenance activities. • Ability to work a 12-hour night shift schedule, including every other weekend and overtime as needed. • Ability to stand, walk, use hands, climb, stoop, kneel, and perform physical work throughout the shift. • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and lift heavier weights with assistance.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)
• Technical school training, trade certification, or some college coursework in industrial maintenance or a related field. • Experience in a food manufacturing environment. • Skills in welding, fabrication, carpentry, plumbing, pneumatics, hydraulics, HVAC, refrigeration, or instrumentation. • Experience with predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, thermal imaging, ultrasound, and oil analysis. • Knowledge of facility utility systems including boilers, steam systems, compressed air, electrical distribution, and refrigeration systems. • Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC), EPA regulations, Uniform Building Code (UBC), and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Work Environment
• Manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment and machinery. • Frequent exposure to wet and humid conditions. • Occasional exposure to heights, airborne particles, chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, and extreme temperatures. • Hearing protection required in plant production areas due to elevated noise levels. • Physical work performed in a fast-paced industrial setting supporting 24/7 operations.
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
