As a Grid Planning & Analysis Specialist, you help shape the future of the Dutch electricity grid. By analysing system developments, identifying bottlenecks, and developing grid and non-grid solutions, you contribute to a reliable, affordable, and future-proof energy system. Within the Grid Solutions team, you translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for future grid development. Working closely with stakeholders, you develop solutions across short-, medium-, and long-term planning horizons, aligned with investment plans, grid visions, and policies. With your expertise in system analysis, extra high-voltage networks, and problem-solving, you contribute directly to TenneT's goals of security of supply, sustainability, and a resilient electricity infrastructure. Your role As a Grid Planning & Analysing Specialist, you provide the analytical foundation for future grid development and investment decisions. By combining grid analyses, congestion assessments, scenarios, asset strategies, and energy market developments, you translate complex insights into clear grid visions and recommendations. Working closely with colleagues across TenneT, authorities, and DSOs, you identify future capacity needs, assess system constraints, and support strategic decision-making. You help ensure that network development plans remain aligned with changing system developments, demand forecasts, and long-term planning assumptions. With your analytical expertise, you play a key role in delivering a reliable, robust, and future-proof electricity grid while contributing directly to TenneT's strategic objectives of security of supply, the energy transition, and efficient infrastructure investments.
