Core responsibilities - Plan and execute IT audits (e.g., IT general controls, application controls, cybersecurity, third-party risk). - Identify, evaluate, and document IT risks, control design, and operating effectiveness. - Perform walkthroughs, testing, evidence collection, and issue validation with stakeholders. - Draft clear audit findings, risk ratings, and remediation recommendations; support reporting to management. - Coordinate with business, IT, and external parties to track remediation actions and timelines. - Contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodologies, templates, and tooling. Required skills and qualifications - Knowledge of IT audit frameworks and standards (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, SOC, ITIL). - Understanding of core IT domains: access management, change management, operations, backups, incident management, cloud, and networking. - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret technical evidence. - Clear written and verbal communication; ability to present findings to non-technical audiences. - Project coordination skills; ability to manage priorities and deadlines. - Preferred: Relevant certifications or progress toward them (e.g., CISA, CISSP, ISO 27001).
