Key responsibilities - Oversee end-to-end indirect tax compliance (e.g., VAT/GST, sales and use tax), including return preparation, review, and timely submission. - Manage indirect tax accounting processes, reconciliations, and controls; improve documentation and audit readiness. - Provide technical guidance on transactions, invoicing, supply chain flows, and system tax determination to ensure correct tax treatment. - Partner with Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Operations to embed compliant processes and resolve tax issues. - Support indirect tax audits, enquiries, and controversy matters; coordinate responses and maintain evidence trails. - Monitor legislative changes and assess business impact; implement updates to policies and procedures. - Contribute to process automation and data quality improvements within ERP and tax tools. - Mentor team members and manage external advisors where applicable.
